DESCRIPTION:Drap-Art’25 Festival in the Gothic Quarter\nInternational Sustainable Art Festival of Catalonia \nFrom November 20 to December 21\, 2025\, the Drap-Art’25 Festival in the Gothic Quarter will host a new edition featuring exhibitions\, performances\, concerts\, and activities throughout Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. This edition will coincide with Drap-Art’s 30th anniversary\, reaffirming the festival’s status as a benchmark for sustainable art. \nExhibitions and confirmed artists \nThe In Memoriam exhibition\, curated by Raquel Medina de Vargas\, will pay tribute to Josep Guinovart\, Daniel Argimon\, and Amèlia Riera. Among the confirmed artists are Manuel Martí Moreno\, Dai Shengjie\, Steven Forster\, Bill Miller\, Duvan\, Sharky\, Shukum\, Paloma Corts\, Rubén Santurián\, Gispert\, Oliver Krieger\, Ladislas\, Colectivo Via 3\, Alice Torella\, Jordi Prat Pons\, Rani Bruchstein\, Francesca Llopis\, and Flying Mirrors. In addition\, the Expo Illes exhibition\, organized in collaboration with Fundació Baleària\, will conclude its tour within the festival. \nHighlighted activities \nThe festival will open on November 20 with an inaugural performance\, and the opening concerts will take place on November 22 in Plaça del Rei. \nThe festival will unfold across several venues in the Gothic Quarter\, including Espai del Borsí per al Barri\, Drap-Art Gallery\, Casa Mater\, Museu d’Història de Barcelona\, and Casa de l’Ardiaca. \nCheck the final program.

SUMMARY:30th Anniversary Book Presentation at the CCCB — “Drap-Aires: Històries del Festival Drap-Art”
DESCRIPTION:“Drap-Aires: Històries del Festival Drap-Art” is an editorial and cultural project commemorating 30 years of Drap-Art\, with photographs by Consuelo Bautista and texts by Xavier Theros. \nSince 1995\, Drap-Art has promoted cultural practices that connect artistic creation\, environmental awareness and citizen participation through an annual festival with a 30-year history of promoting sustainability through contemporary art\, while generating a cultural and visual legacy closely linked to the city of Barcelona. As part of this anniversary\, the project takes shape through the publication of a commemorative book bringing together key artists\, moments and experiences from the festival\, as well as its public presentation on 15 September at the CCCB Mirador. \nThe presentation of the book “Drap-Aires: Històries del Festival Drap-Art” at the CCCB Mirador will be a public cultural and commemorative event centred on Drap-Art’s 30-year history. The presentation will feature Xavier Theros\, co-author of the book\, as master of ceremonies. He will lead a round table with people connected to the history and evolution of the project\, alongside a screening of archival images of the festival by Consuelo Bautista\, who has documented Drap-Art throughout these 30 years.
