SUMMARY:30th Anniversary Book Presentation at the CCCB — “Drap-Aires: Històries del Festival Drap-Art”
DESCRIPTION:“Drap-Aires: Històries del Festival Drap-Art” is an editorial and cultural project commemorating 30 years of Drap-Art\, with photographs by Consuelo Bautista and texts by Xavier Theros. \nSince 1995\, Drap-Art has promoted cultural practices that connect artistic creation\, environmental awareness and citizen participation through an annual festival with a 30-year history of promoting sustainability through contemporary art\, while generating a cultural and visual legacy closely linked to the city of Barcelona. As part of this anniversary\, the project takes shape through the publication of a commemorative book bringing together key artists\, moments and experiences from the festival\, as well as its public presentation on 15 September at the CCCB Mirador at 18:30. \nThe presentation of the book “Drap-Aires: Històries del Festival Drap-Art” at the CCCB Mirador will be a public cultural and commemorative event centred on Drap-Art’s 30-year history. The presentation will feature Xavier Theros\, co-author of the book\, as master of ceremonies. He will lead a round table with people connected to the history and evolution of the project\, alongside a screening of archival images of the festival by Consuelo Bautista\, who has documented Drap-Art throughout these 30 years.
