Since 1995, Drap-Art has promoted cultural practices that connect artistic creation, environmental awareness and citizen participation through an annual festival with a 30-year history of promoting sustainability through contemporary art, while generating a cultural and visual legacy closely linked to the city of Barcelona. As part of this anniversary, the project takes shape through the publication of a commemorative book bringing together key artists, moments and experiences from the festival, as well as its public presentation on 15 September at the CCCB Mirador.

The presentation of the book “Drap-Aires: Històries del Festival Drap-Art” at the CCCB Mirador will be a public cultural and commemorative event centred on Drap-Art’s 30-year history. The presentation will feature Xavier Theros, co-author of the book, as master of ceremonies. He will lead a round table with people connected to the history and evolution of the project, alongside a screening of archival images of the festival by Consuelo Bautista, who has documented Drap-Art throughout these 30 years. Tardor d’Art de Formentera is a space for encounter, creation and reflection that highlights contemporary, experimental and sustainable art in the unique setting of the island of Formentera.
