Big Face de Steven Forster a l’Hotel Eurostars Laietana

As part of the Drap-Art’25 Festival, the mobile artwork Big Face by multidisciplinary artist Steven Forster will be on display in the lobby of the Eurostars Laietana Hotel.

Steven Forster is a multifaceted artist working in sculpture, painting, music, composition, performance and interior design. Since arriving in Barcelona in 1988, he has played an active role in the alternative art scene, exploring polypoetry, visual arts, installations and experimental music. He is a founding member of Drap-Art, and recycling has always been a core element of his artistic practice.

Among his most representative works is Big Face, part of his exploration of the human figure through the Monigòtics: abstract beings that distill identity to its purest essence. Big Face features a large-scale face built from recycled materials, evoking the iconic presence of humankind without references to gender or individuality, and inviting viewers to reflect on our shared human essence.

We thank the Eurostars Laietana Hotel for its collaboration and support in this new edition of Drap-Art’25, helping sustainable art continue to expand and engage in dialogue with the city.
