Drap-Aires is now on Verkami!
This year we celebrate 30 years of the Drap-Art Festival: three decades transforming waste into art, public spaces into meeting places, and creativity into a tool for rethinking our relationship with the world.
To mark this special anniversary, we are preparing the publication of Drap-Aires: Stories from the Drap-Art Festival, a book that captures the festival’s memory through the photographs of Consuelo Bautista and the texts of Xavier Theros. A journey through the people, artworks, anecdotes and moments that have made this collective adventure possible over the past thirty years.
More than a book, Drap-Aires is a tribute to everyone who has been part of Drap-Art’s story: artists, collaborators, volunteers, neighbours, visitors and friends who have helped build a project committed to creativity, sustainability and social transformation.
Now we need your support to make it happen.
We have launched a Verkami crowdfunding campaign to help fund the book’s production, printing and publication. By contributing, you can reserve your copy and access a range of special rewards connected to the festival’s history.
Every contribution helps us preserve and share a story about art, community, and the power to transform what is often considered waste into new opportunities.
Help make Drap-Aires possible and join us in continuing to write this story:
Thank you for being part of Drap-Art and these 30 years of creativity and transformation.
