Open Call: Mediterranean Sustainable Art 2026

Open Call: Mediterranean Sustainable Art 2026

Drap-Art is collaborating with the Fundació Baleària and the Associació Art amb B on the second edition of Mediterranean Sustainable Art, a group exhibition that champions contemporary art as a tool for promoting sustainability, resource reuse and reflection on the environmental challenges of our time.

The exhibition will open on 23 November 2026 at the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, as part of the 30th edition of the International Festival of Sustainable Art of Catalonia (Drap-Art ’26), and will remain open until 10 December 2026.

This collaboration expands the festival’s programme and strengthens the connections between artists and cultural initiatives committed to sustainability across the Mediterranean region.

Following its presentation in Barcelona, the exhibition will embark on an approximately twelve-month touring programme across several exhibition venues that form part of the Fundació Baleària’s Llonges de la Cultura programme.

The initiative offers the selected works an opportunity to gain greater exposure and visibility beyond the Drap-Art Festival.

Deadline

Those interested can submit their proposals until 20 September 2026 at 12:00 noon.
